Hip Flexor Activations
Use this exercise to help “switch on” your hip flexor muscles using the Chapman’s Activations technique. These muscles may shorten and be inhibited if you spend many hours seated each day. Glutes and abdominal muscles may also become inhibited with the hip flexor muscle group (please see glutes and abdominal activation videos). Strong hip flexor muscles assist core stability and helps maintain good posture.
Chapman's Reflex Activations are used to stimulate a rapid relaxation response by stimulating the congested neurolymphatic points and restoring function of particular muscle groups.
